Biography

Kelsi Beer is an actress, singer, dancer, and choreographer based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, actively building a dynamic career in musical theatre, film acting, and dance choreography. She is an alumni of the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City (2024), where she was accepted into both the Film Acting and Musical Theatre specialized training programs. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Arts from the University of New Mexico, with concentrations in vocal performance, theatre, and dance. A passionate and versatile performer, Kelsi has been dancing since the age of four, with extensive training across a wide range of styles falling in love specifically with musical theatre jazz and tap. Her early accomplishments include being named an All American Dancer through the Universal Dance Association (UDA) in 2019, which led to an international performance in Rome, Italy, for the New Year's Day Parade. Her notable stage credits include Mamma Mia (2021), Next to Normal (2025), and Into the Woods (2023), with the Four Corners Musical Theatre Company in Farmington, New Mexico.

Kelsi has held multiple Dance Captain positions for major productions, including Spamalot (2023), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (2023), and Pippin (2023), performing and working with the Four Corners Musical Theatre Company and the University of New Mexico. Her role as Leading Player and Dance Captain in Pippin, also included serving as Assistant Choreographer, which sparked inspiration to step into the choreographer chair for musical theatre. This culminated in her choreographing and directing her first theatrical production, “Echoes of Us” (2025), her senior capstone project through the Interdisciplinary Arts Program, showcasing her choreographic voice and artistic vision. In addition to her theatre and dance work, Kelsi has appeared in numerous film projects in collaboration with the UNM Film Department and the Albuquerque independent film scene, including participation in the 48 Hour Film Project (2024) with the New Waves film collective and a lead role in McCormick (2023), a SAG-AFTRA short film.
